Alfonso Gómez is a global marketing leader recognized for his innovative approach and expertise in brand growth and international expansion. He currently leads the Marketing Mexico team at Glanbia Performance Nutrition, managing brands such as Optimum Nutrition, Isopure, Think, and Amazing Grass. Under his leadership, Optimum Nutrition achieved milestones like partnering with McLaren F1 and becoming the official protein and creatine of the Mexican Football Federation.
Previously, Alfonso held marketing leadership roles at Birdman, Grupo Castel, and Heineken Italy, driving brand equity and market share growth. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an MBA from London Business School. Having lived and worked in over 12 countries, he brings a global, data-driven vision to brand building and digital transformation.
