Sid Katari

Sid Katari is the CEO of isima. For nearly two decades, Sid Katari has worked to accelerate leading beauty brands to exponential levels of growth, with experience in previous roles at Oribe Hair Care, CIRCA Inc. and Jurlique.

Prior to his role in bringing isima to market, Sid Katari spent more than a decade at Oribe Hair Care, where he led the industry icon in high performance luxury haircare. As the Global General Manager & CEO, driving all global business operations – including management of the brand’s supply chain, sales activities, and distribution, service, and support in all markets and countries – he played a key role in the establishment and ongoing development of key strategic distribution partners and supplier relationships. He also drove the future vision of the brand and was responsible for total company financial performance.

Prior to Oribe Hair Care’s acquisition by Kao Corporation in 2018 for $400M, Sid held the position of Chief Financial Officer for five years, during which he was the architect behind scaling the brand from the startup phase through the pitch, diligence, sale, and transition of the company. In this role he oversaw accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, supply chain operations, audit and tax functions, human resources, and legal functions for the business.
